Rep. Kathy Ashe receives endorsements for re-election

State Rep. Kathy Ashe has received the endorsements of a number of groups that advocate for good government at the State Capitol in her candidacy for re-election to Georgia House District 56.

Among the organizations whose members are supporting Ashe in the July 18 Democratic primary are:

Georgia Association of Educators

“I am very pleased and honored to have received the support of all of these groups,” said Ashe, who also received the endorsement of the state’s largest newspaper, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. “I am gratified that those who follow the legislature closely have acknowledged my support of our public schools, working families, equal rights, women’s health, the environment and many other issues.”
